This is the page where I have the opportunity to blow my own horn a bit. I've been involved with web design and development for over a decade.
I have an extensive background in advertising & marketing. I have been an advertising executive for a CBS-TV affiliate station, and as Creative Director at an advertising agency in Yakima WA. This is where I sat in front of my first computer, a Mac Classic. It was love at first site.
In the early 90's as the web gained momentum, I started doing web design. Eventually I moved to the PC side of the fence, learned SQL, ASP, and later ColdFusion and began developing dynamic web applications. I've used Dreamweaver since version 1 and made the move to UltraDev literally the day it came out. I now work with all the Adobe (and former Macromedia) programs.
Specializing in dynamic web application development, I'm known internationally as the creator and founder of Cartweaver® the leading shopping cart application for Adobe Dreamweaver. I developed Cartweaver 1 in ColdFusion. Cartweaver is now available in three development platforms, ASP, PHP and ColdFusion and supports three database platforms MS Access, MySQL and MS SQL Server. Cartweaver is used by thousands of developers in ten countries and counting.
I'm a Certified Adobe Solution Provider, and serve as an Adobe Community Expert. I speak at web technology conferences across the country and also teach college courses on Adobe applications. I am a trainer for Lynda.com, the largest online training resource for the design and web development community. I also write and maintain Blog.Cartweaver.com a well known blog on "all things ecommerce."
